These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScapePVP ("we", "us", "the server"), including the game, this website, our Discord, and the account panel. By creating an account or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ScapePVP.
ScapePVP is a free fan-made RuneScape private server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex Ltd. "RuneScape" and related marks are trademarks of Jagex Ltd.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may only use ScapePVP and make purchases with the consent of a parent or guardian.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
- You may not share, sell, or transfer your account except where expressly permitted by us.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our in-game rules.
3. Rules of conduct
While using ScapePVP you agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use third-party software, bots, macros, or clients that give an unfair advantage.
- Use real-world trading to buy or sell accounts, items, or in-game currency outside of official systems.
- Harass, threaten, scam, or impersonate other players or staff.
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to our services.
- Evade bans or punishments using alternate accounts.
We may take action - including warnings, mutes, item removal, or permanent bans - at our discretion to enforce these rules.
4. Virtual items and currency
All in-game items, ranks, points, and currency are virtual goods that have no real-world monetary value and remain our property. They are licensed, not sold, to you for use within ScapePVP, and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may modify, remove, or reset virtual items as needed to balance or operate the game.
5. Donations and purchases
- Donations and store purchases support the server. In return you may receive virtual perks and items.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
- Rewards are delivered to the in-game account you specify at checkout. Provide the correct username; we are not responsible for delivery to a wrong username you supply.
- Because purchases are virtual goods delivered immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in a permanent ban.
6. Voting
Vote rewards are provided as an incentive to support the server. Manipulating the voting system, using bots, or submitting fraudulent votes may result in loss of rewards and account action.
7. Service availability
ScapePVP is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent. We may change, suspend, reset, or discontinue any part of the game or services at any time, including in the event of server resets or closures.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of virtual items, progress, or data, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ScapePVP.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ScapePVP after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
